How PC-Welt puts processors through their paces
The German website PC-Welt presents in an article the new test platform for reviewing desktop processors. The tester relies on the Dark Rock Pro 4 to cool the CPUs, and a total of four Silent Wings 3 140mm PWM fans ensure a constant airflow.
“The be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 is able to dissipate a thermal power loss of up to 250 watts and is therefore also ideally suited for cooling overclocked processors. [...] Four fans of the be quiet! Silent Wings 3 type ensure a natural airflow. Two fans are used to supply fresh air and two to extract it from the housing. Thanks to their PWM control, the fans cool the test systems virtually silently and thus have no negative influence on the volume measurements.”
