PC-Welt (DE) has tested the AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT in a system with a Dark Rock Pro 4. This cooler is said to offer sufficient cooling despite a water cooling loop being the default recommendation.
“Contrary to the previous generation, AMD ships the Ryzen 9 3900XT without an included boxed cooler and instead recommends using an all-in-one water cooling loop with at least 280mm. The Dark Rock Pro 4 used in our test proves to be absolute sufficient.”
