The Dutch Hardware.Info has reviewed 27 mid-range PC cases, including the be quiet! Silent Base 600 and 800. They are extremely satisfied with both cases; especially the Silent Base 800 manages to score points on both cooling and noise blocking. Enough reason to give this case another well-deserved Excellent Award.
“The quietest models that also manage to properly cool [its components] are the Antec Performance One P100, the Be Quiet Silent Base 800 and the Fractal Design Define R5. If we look at functionality Antec has an obvious disadvantage, which means our preference and an Excellent Award go to Be Quiet and Fractal Design.”
