The Swedish modders/reviewers of Swerigs have reviewed the be quiet! Silent Base 800. They are very happy with this first attempt at a chassis, stressing the sheer amount of space this chassis offers, its noise reducing features and the build quality. With only a few minor quibbles, they wholeheartedly recommend this case to any serious PC builder.
“On the whole, this is Silent Base 800 a very nice chassis, where the focus really is on a quiet and well cooled computer. Sound traps, silicone rails, proper damping mats and great fans make the chassis very quiet, even though it had not been fitted with a built-in fan controller that we see in many other cases. The chassis is great and easy to work in and provides many options for those who do not want to build a completely conventional system.”
