An interesting round-up was posted in the forums of the German website PC Games Hardware, where the user Braineater compares four different power supplies from be quiet!. His goal was to find out, if and to what extend the price has an impact on the performance of the devices. Therefore, he compares four models from the series Dark Power Pro 11, Straight Power 10 CM, Pure Pure 9 CM and System Power 8 with 500 or 550 Watts, respectively. The conclusion is positive for all four PSU's. To determine a clear winner, is not easy. However, the Straight Power 10 provides the best value in his opinion.
“Even though the Dark Power Pro 11 scores with a very extensive package of accessories, the Straight Power 10 and the Pure Power 9 offer everything a normal user will need. The System Power 8 ranks last, but basically still delivers everything that is required.”
