Amazing case, but retail price is too high
Hardware.Info has published a review of the be quiet! Dark Base 700. The editor likes the design of the case, the use of aluminum and hardened glass, and has a lot of praise for the modularity and the cable management. Consumers looking for a versatile case won't regret the Dark Base 700. The editor does think the MSRP is too high for a case that is still mainly made of steel and plastic on the inside, so no award is given.
“The be quiet! Dark Base 700 is a beautiful case. We like the design and the built-in RGB lighting feels very modern. Looking at component placement this case is very versatile, including the option to mount the motherboard upside-down on the left side of the case. Another pro is the possibility of mounting up to seven 3.5-inch hard drives, although there's only mounting material for three hard drives in the box. The built-in fan and RGB controllers are great extras. The case remains cool, but the noise isolation is a bit disappointing.”
