Newly available: be quiet! Dark Rock 4 CPU cooler series

Immense cooling performance and virtually inaudible operation

The high-end Dark Rock 4 cooler series is now available in stores: double-tower Dark Rock Pro 4 with 250W TDP and single-tower Dark Rock 4 with 200W TDP. They both offer extremely high cooling performance with virtually inaudible operation and are excellent choices for overclocked systems and demanding workstations. 

The cooling fins of both models and their heat pipes have a specially enhanced ceramic black coating that not only endows them with an appealing all-black appearance, it also boosts their heat conduction. Heat is transferred efficiently from the base to the heatsink by high-performance copper pipes: Dark Rock 4 has six pipes and Dark Rock Pro 4 has seven. Small dots on the surfaces of the fins effectively increase the total cooling area and their wave-contoured shape contributes to perfect airflow. Both models are equipped with Silent Wings PWM fans with airflow-optimized blades, smooth 6-pole motors and fluid dynamic bearings (FDB). Dark Rock Pro 4 has a Silent Wings 3 120mm PWM fan with a funnel-shaped vent on the front. The fan mounting has a decoupled design that further minimizes vibration. 

Installation is simplified thanks to top mounting design and a screwdriver is included in the scope of delivery. The top cover is made from brushed aluminum and features an elegant diamond cut finish. To improve compatibility with high-performance RAM cards with tall heat spreaders or with LEDs, Dark Rock Pro 4 features formfitting cutouts around the fins.
