Enos Tech has published an article comparing high-end air coolers and 240mm AIO coolers. Included are the Pure Loop 240mm and Dark Rock Pro 4. Even though the author does not draw a definite conclusion on whether air or liquid cooling is better, we can at least conclude that the Dark Rock Pro 4 is one of the best air coolers on the market, especially when factoring in noise levels.
“There has been a continuous debate of which cooler is best and whatnot. Similarly, there has been a continuous debate over air cooling vs liquid cooling along with their pros and cons. There is no definitive answer to these questions except that what we could test and put up with.”
